What I Believe
What I Believe
Father, Son, Holy Spirit
The following is a brief statement of my beliefs about the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the disciples of the Messiah.
I believe that Yahuah is one singular person, the Father alone. The only true Alahym is the Alahym of the Messiah (Yahusha), the Alahym of our Master (Yahusha), His Father alone. The Alahym of our Master’s servants is the Alahym of our Master.
· “You believe in one Alahym, you do well; the devils also believe, and tremble.” (James 2:19)
· “The Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28)
I believe that the Messiah, Yahusha, is an extraordinary being uniquely created and appointed by Yahuah for His divine purpose, brought into existence by the will of Yahuah before the foundation of the world as the first and greatest of Yahuah’s creation. Existing in the bosom of the Father as the foreknown and predestined Savior, Yahusha was chosen to fulfill the role of Messiah and bring salvation to humanity, not as an eternal being but as the perfect manifestation of Yahuah’s plan.
· “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Alahym, and the Word was Alahym. He was in the beginning with Alahym. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.” (John 1:1-3)
· “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me.” (John 6:38)
· “For Yahuah so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son.” (John 3:16)
In the fullness of time, Yahusha was begotten in Bethlehem of Judea during the days of Herod the King, becoming fully human while remaining distinct from Yahuah in nature and being. As the second Adam, Yahusha was the perfect human vessel through whom Yahuah’s Spirit worked mightily, restoring what was lost through the disobedience of the first Adam. Unlike the first Adam, who brought sin and death into the world, Yahusha lived a life of perfect obedience to Yahuah, fulfilling the divine will and becoming the path to righteousness and eternal life.
· “For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive.” (1 Corinthians 15:22)
· “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.” (1 Corinthians 15:21)
Having been baptized by John the Immerser at the Jordan, Yahusha was anointed by Yahuah with His Spirit and sent into the world, speaking the words of the Father and performing mighty works through the power of Yahuah. As a man of flesh, Yahusha revealed and expressed the Father through his words and deeds, faithfully demonstrating Yahuah's will and love during his ministry. He was crucified and hung dead on a tree in Jerusalem as a sacrifice for the sins of humanity, and because of his humble obedience, Yahuah highly exalted him, raising him from the dead, granting him all authority in heaven and on earth, and placing all things under his feet—even subjecting the angels to him, which the Father had determined to give him from the foundation of the earth.
· “And Yahusha came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” (Matthew 28:18)
· “And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore Yahuah also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name.” (Philippians 2:8-9)
· “The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into His hand.” (John 3:35)
· “For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell.” (Colossians 1:19)
When Yahusha was raised from the dead, his crucified body was clothed in the life-giving Spirit of the Father, the divine nature of Yahuah, becoming a new creation—a new kind of humanity, the Alpha and the Omega (אֶלֶף וָתָו), the first and the last (הָרִאשׁוֹן וְהָאַחֲרוֹן), and the firstfruits from the dead. As the second Adam, he succeeded where the first Adam failed, offering redemption and reconciliation with Yahuah for all who believe and follow him. Put to death in the flesh but made alive in the Spirit, Yahusha transcended his earthly existence, and we no longer know him according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Though crucified in weakness, he now lives by the power of his Alahym, serving as the perfect example of faithfulness and the path to eternal life for all who walk in his ways.
· “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” (Revelation 22:13)
· “But now is Messiah risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.” (1 Corinthians 15:20)
· “For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” (Romans 8:22)
· “Though He was crucified in weakness, yet He liveth by the power of Alahym.” (2 Corinthians 13:4)
Through Yahusha, Yahuah’s will, word, and love have been perfectly revealed to humanity, fulfilling the divine plan of redemption and securing the hope of salvation for those who walk in his ways. Yahusha, the second Adam, has become the foundation of a new creation, restoring humanity to its intended purpose in Yahuah’s eternal plan.
· “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” (Luke 19:10)
· “If any man be in Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
I believe the Holy Spirit (Ruach haKodesh) is the divine nature of our Holy Alahym, Yahuah. The sons of Yahuah are those who walk by His Spirit and will be clothed in His Spirit in the resurrection. Spirit is what the Father is, and now, having been bodily clothed in the Holy Spirit of the Father, Spirit is what the risen Messiah is. In him, we are members of his body, and as members, we partake in the divine nature—the resurrection life of his body, the Holy Spirit of the Living Alahym.
· “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of Alahym dwells in you.” (Romans 8:9)
· “But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of Alahym, even to them that believe on His name.” (John 1:12)
The servants of our Master, the Messiah, are his brothers. He is the firstborn of many brothers, the firstborn from the dead. They are sons of Yahuah, begotten of Him just as the Messiah was. Yahuah is their Father, and they are His sons if they walk according to His Spirit. They have died with the Messiah to this world and been raised anew with him into the resurrection life of the Holy Spirit. They are anointed priests and kings to the Alahym and Father of the Messiah and will be glorified with him and reign with him if they suffer with him. His disciples are those who pick up their cross and walk as he walked, suffering as he suffered, living stones who offer their bodies as living sacrifices to Yahuah.
· “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.” (Romans 8:29)
· “If so be that we suffer with Him, that we may be also glorified together.” (Romans 8:17)
Our Alahym is the Alahym of the Messiah, the Alahym and Father of our Master, who rules all creation in the name of the Father. Yahuah will judge all mankind through the man He has appointed. As the Messiah rules in the name of the Father, he will judge in the name of the Father.
· “The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” (John 5:22)
· “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” (John 5:22)
The Messiah and his apostles warned us that false prophets and teachers would arise among the people of Yahuah. These wolves would not spare the flock but deceive many with smooth words. Sadly, many ignore these warnings because they love their idols. Idolatry has plagued Yahuah's people throughout history, as seen when Israel made a golden calf. Over and over, the Scriptures recount how Yahuah delivered His people, only for them to turn to idolatry and do evil in His eyes.
· “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)
The doctrine of the Trinity and Modalism is yet another man-made idol, an abomination before Yahuah. These teachings come from Gnosticism, the invention of corrupt men who neither know Yahuah nor His Son. The Trinity and Modalism do not represent the Alahym of our Master, the Messiah, nor the Alahym of His disciples. We serve the Living Alahym, whom the Messiah has revealed to us—His Alahym and our Father. Yahuah dwells within His children, His living stones, making us His temple. The world does not know us because it does not know Him. All creation groans, awaiting the revelation of the sons of Yahuah and the redemption of the body.
· *“No one has ever seen Yahuah; if we love one another, Yahuah abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this, we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." -1 John 4:12-13
